Outright
Gifts
Outright gifts of cash are fully tax-deductible.
Gifts may be made by a check made payable to The Textile Museum
or charged to a VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. Please include
a note stating whether the gift is to support the Sustaining Fund
or a special project.

Gifts of
Securities
A charitable contribution of stock to The Textile Museum may
be deducted from your income taxes in the amount equal to the full
fair market value of the security on the date it is given. In order
to take full advantage of a stock gift, the shares need to be transferred
directly to The Textile Museum. If you would like to make a gift
of stock and would like information on how to complete the transaction,
please call the number below.
United Way/Combined
Federal Campaigns
The Textile Museum participates in the United Way and Combined Federal
workplace campaigns through its affiliation with the United
Arts Organization of Greater Washington. These gifts help to
support the Museum's general operating expenses. Contributions can
be made by designating The Textile Museum #8620 on your workplace
giving form.
* Gifts made through the United Way/Combined Federal Campaigns
are not applied to membership fees.

Gifts
You can increase the impact of your gift if your company matches
charitable contributions. For more information, contact your company's
personnel office for the necessary forms. Mail completed forms with
your contribution to the Museum's Development office at the address
