Gifts of Securities
A charitable contribution of stock to The Textile Museum may be deducted from your income taxes in the amount equal to the full fair market value of the security on the date it is given. In order to take full advantage of a stock gift, the shares need to be transferred directly to The Textile Museum. United Way/Combined Federal Campaigns
The Textile Museum participates in the United Way and Combined Federal workplace campaigns through its affiliation with the United Arts Organization of Greater Washington. * Gifts made through the United Way/Combined Federal Campaigns are not applied to membership fees.
